OSD Math Placement Guidelines
The Olympia School District aims for all students to be successful in math. Our goal is that each child is placed in the math course that is most appropriate for their learning needs as they move through their middle school and high school years.
Apply for College Bound Scholarships
The College Bound Scholarship is here! The College Bound Scholarship is an early commitment of financial aid to eligible students in the seventh and eighth grade whose families might not be considering college because of its cost. Students sign a pledge in the seventh or eighth grade to be good citizens (not be convicted of a felony), graduate high school (with a 2.0 GPA or higher) and apply and gain admission to an eligible college. If families meet the income requirements and the students fulfill the pledge, then the scholarship will be combined with other state financial aid (at comparable public colleges), some fees, and a small book allowance.
To view and complete the application, visit the College Bound Scholarship website. Informational fliers are also available at your local middle school office.
