What is expected of a Student-Athlete? Student-athletes must be in good academic standing and must have grades of C or better in all their classes. Weekly grade checks will be conducted on all athletes during the sports season. Students will not be allowed to participate in games until they are in good academic standing. In addition, student athletes must attend school for at least 3 periods a day and be in good behavioral standing to participate in practices and games. For more information, contact Asst. Principal, Michele Weber.

How much does it cost to play sports at TMMS? The cost of participating in athletics is $60 per sport. This fee can be waived if a student is eligible for Free Lunch as determined by completing the Free and Reduced Lunch Form. Families on Reduced Lunch Rates pay a reduced sports fee of $30. Additionally, if paying the fee to play is a financial hardship for a family, please contact Mr. Brock or Mrs. Weber in the office for information on a scholarship. We believe all students should have the opportunity to play no matter what their financial situation is!

Who does TMMS compete against? Games are played with the other middle schools in the Olympia District: Washington MS, Jefferson MS, Reeves MS, and Griffin School District.
