Conference Week Success


Thank you to all of the families who came out for conferences and took the time to meet with our teachers. We have felt a tremendous amount of support from our families throughout the year, and we are grateful for the way you continue to show up and partner with us in your students’ education.

From orientation to Open House, and now conferences, our students see that their school and families are working together to support their success. Our teachers also described conferences as a huge success and we simply want to say thank you for being such an important part of our Mustang community!

The Mustang Dash was a blast today and a great end to spirit week! We hope you take a moment to ask your kiddo about the experience and hear about this fun, team-building event from their perspective.

As we move into November, we are excited to hold our first big assembly of the year as we recognize Veterans Day on November 10 at 2:20 p.m. Please see the opportunity below to participate in the assembly as we look to honor the veterans and community heroes who have served our country.

Our Veterans Day Assembly will take place on Tuesday, November 10th @ 2:20 pm. Every year, we include a slideshow of any Veterans related to our students. If you would like a picture included in our slideshow, please fill out the Google Form below.

 

Bingo......TONIGHT!


Join us TONIGHT from 6 - 8 p.m. for a spooktacular night of bingo, prizes, costume contests, a photo booth and concessions including pizza! Bring your family and friends for a fun-filled evening supporting the Citizen Science Institute at Thurgood Marshall Middle School.

Calling all Girl Basketball Players!


Last chance to sign up! We're still looking for more players to come out and join the girls basketball team! Practice starts on Monday. Sign up now on Final Forms. A sports physical is required to participate. Those can be uploaded directly to Final Forms, or dropped off in the office. ALL grades 6-8 are welcome to sign up. No prior experience necessary!

  • The deadline for requests is October 30th, 2026.
  • Pick-up will be on November 23rd, 2026, after 12:30 pm (times are determined by schools).
  • Please note: Each household may receive one Thanksgiving food box. If your family has students attending more than one school, please submit only one request per household.
  • No dietary accommodations.
